Established in 1997, Macbertan (Pvt) Ltd is a result of a strategic alliance between McLarens Holdings Limited and Alliance Finance Company Ltd. These two corporate entities are at top of their respective industries which gives Macbertan an advantage when it comes to the availability of resources and expertise.
With these two companies being a driving force for Macbertan, they were able to pioneer in the manufacture of expanded polyethylene foam and bubble sheets in the country. This achievement pushed them to expand and progress into the manufacture of Aluminum Barrier Laminate (ABL) and Plastic Barrier Laminate (PBL) tubes.
Providing what the customer wants and meeting their specific requirements is vital in this business. Therefore, giving a customer a reason to trust us and our products is of monumental importance. This is why Macbertan is the first plastic processing company in Sri Lanka to be awarded the EMS 14001:2004 and ISO 45001: 2018. Similarly, the company received ISO 9001 :2008 Certification for Quality Standards and ISO 50001: 2011 Energy Management System certification.
Macbertan has a fully trained and highly skilled workforce of over 200 personnel and factories equipped with state-of-the-art machinery for the production of a superior range of products.
