Educated at Royal College, Colombo, and trained as an Automotive Technician in Canada, he is the Group Joint Managing Director of McLarens Holdings Limited, a massive conglomerate that offers total solutions around the globe in the areas of shipping and marine services, logistics, lubricants, Oil and Gas, Bunkering Services and automotive distribution, trading, manufacturing, hotel services and property development.
He is also the Managing Partner of Auto Force Services, a modern motor vehicle service center; Managing Director of McShaw Automotive Limited, which specializes in marketing and distribution of automotive and automobile related products; Director of Macbertan (Pvt) Limited which manufactures Polyethylene Foam based products and Chief Executive Officer of the Pannala International Race Track, the only purpose-built Track in Sri Lanka, matching international FIA standards.
Dinesh is an avid Motor Racer, and has participated in many Race Meets both locally and internationally, with several podium finishes. He serves in the Committees of several Motor Racing Clubs and is actively involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of the McLarens Group of Companies
